Coronawalks - along the Forth & Clyde Canal

The Forth & Clyde canal stretches from the Forth in Falkirk to the river Clyde in Glasgow.

The canal in the direction of Falkirk. In Falkirk a boatlift, the Falkirk Wheel, lifts canal boats 29m/79ft to the Union canal. This way they can cross the entire Central Belt from the east to the west coast.

The Kelvin Valley - in these hills lies the watershed of the Scottish mainland. To the left the water runs into the Clyde and the Atlantik, to the right it runs into the Firth of Forth and the North Sea.
